Mailboxes shipping app invoice review and duty cost estimator on a laptop — Angular web app by Maham Zahid

Project Overview

Mailboxes is a customer portal for a package-forwarding and shipping service. From a single dashboard, customers upload and review invoices, estimate shipping and duty charges before they ship, and follow each package through a clear set of statuses — from "invoice required" to "ready to collect".

I built the front-end in Angular with a modular structure — reusable table, modal and status components backed by a themeable SCSS system — so new package states and workflows can be added cleanly.

The Challenge

Shipping data is dense: many packages, several statuses, invoices and cost breakdowns. The client needed all of it to feel organised and calm, with a cost estimator that stayed accurate and a layout that held up across a long list of packages.

The Solution

I grouped packages by status into scannable sections, built the shipping-and-duty estimator as a focused modal with clear "learn more" hints, and used strongly-typed Angular components with RxJS to keep the interface responsive as data loads. A shared SCSS token layer keeps every screen consistent.

Key Features

  • Invoice review and upload workflow
  • Shipping & duty cost estimator modal
  • Package tracking across every status
  • Reusable, strongly-typed Angular components
  • Fully responsive dashboard layout
