Melissa — Next.js Platform
A responsive membership and booking website built with Next.js and React — introducing the service, showcasing vetted providers and guiding visitors from "how it works" to getting in touch.
Project Overview
Melissa is a warm, trust-focused marketing and membership site. It walks a first-time visitor through what the service is, introduces a curated set of providers, answers "how does it work?" and builds confidence with a "trusted by people like you" testimonials section before a gentle contact prompt.
I built it with Next.js and React using reusable components and a soft, on-brand SCSS design system, so every section stays consistent and the marketing team can extend pages without touching layout code.
The Challenge
The site had to feel calm and personal while still loading fast and ranking well. It needed a provider carousel, a testimonials slider and a contact flow that all worked flawlessly on mobile — without any single section feeling heavy.
The Solution
Next.js gave me fast, SEO-friendly server-rendered pages and optimised images out of the box. I built the providers and testimonials as reusable, data-driven components and used a shared SCSS token layer for the soft cream-and-purple palette, keeping the whole experience cohesive and easy to maintain.
Key Features
- Server-rendered, SEO-friendly Next.js pages
- Curated providers carousel with profile cards
- "How it works" and testimonials sections
- Accessible contact form with clear states
- Fully responsive, mobile-first layout
